We help employers and their brokers create customized healthcare plans using a self-insurance model, enabling companies of all sizes to recruit and retain top talent without draining their bottom lines. We’ve developed a new way of doing healthcare – one that cuts out unnecessary waste and administration – so employers can only purchase what they really need: the actual care. Our flagship offering – EverydayCareTM – offers the routine care that most people use most of the time – starting at just $105 a month. This includes unlimited primary, preventative and injury care (including chiropractic), as well as labs, immunizations and logistical support to navigate the healthcare system.

Competitor plans are filled with waste, administrative burdens, inefficient processes and unnecessarily high procedure rates due to unreasonable requirements from traditional, status quo insurance companies. Those costs are then placed on the backs of individuals and families who need the care but often can’t afford it.
We’re different. We eliminate waste and unnecessary administration so we don’t have to charge more. We use a process that quickly identifies the most cost-efficient route to address common healthcare needs. We “redirect” care without sacrificing quality. For instance, certain procedures that cost thousands of dollars in a hospital can actually be performed at nearby clinics for a small fraction of the cost and with the exact same quality.
Redirect Health is not an insurance company. We help companies utilize and maximize self-funded healthcare plans, and we provide logistical support to navigate the healthcare system and access the right level of care. When needed, we work with insurance carriers to offer companies stop-loss.
Our services provide the vast majority of healthcare and guidance people will need and use, such as primary care, physical medicine and injury care, rehabilitation (including chiropractic and virtual rehabilitation), labs, x-rays, mammograms, colonoscopies, immunizations, and generic medications. Care can be provided at no extra cost, and most visits can be handled over the phone. If needed, employers can opt for a supplemental insurance plan to cover issues above and beyond common needs. Since we’re not an insurance company, we don’t offer coverage in the traditional sense you’re probably thinking of. We provide the actual care and guidance people need to navigate an overly complex healthcare system. Our flagship healthcare plan – EverydayCareTM – meets federal healthcare requirements and addresses the vast majority of healthcare needs that people will encounter, such as treatment of coughs and colds, diabetes, asthma, pain, injury and other common ailments. In addition to providing high-quality care, we offer logistical support so members don’t get lost in the system.
EverydayCareTM starts at $105 per employee per month with $0 copay/$0 deductibles. It includes:
- 24/7 care logistics support in English and Spanish
- Physician-to-physician case management
- Patient Assistance Programs
- Workers compensation case management
Care delivery and management of chronic and acute diseases, including:
- Unlimited primary care
- Unlimited injury care, including up to 12 chiropractic visits a year
- o Preventative adult and well-child care
- Labs and immunizations
If desired, employers can purchase additional stop-loss insurance to protect against catastrophic illnesses and accidents.
Yes, our plans provide companies with an avenue to meet Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) and Minimal Value Plan (MVP) requirements stipulated by the Affordable Care Act. They fall under a portion of the law that enables employers to self-insure.
Yes. While our EverydayCare™ plan meets the needs of many businesses, we also work with insurance companies to offer healthcare plans including major medical and stop-loss insurance. .
When patients need care, they contact us 24/7/365 (English or Spanish) at (888) 407-7928 or through our mobile app. We quickly evaluate healthcare needs, collect necessary patient information and identify your treatment options. For example, we can schedule same-day phone visits with physicians who can address about 60% of patients’ needs without requiring them to visit a doctor or healthcare provider in person.
Yes! Our plan includes open access so you can see any primary care provider you choose with a $0 copay/$0 deductible as long as you request your appointment through Redirect Health.
Yes. You have options with Redirect Health. Yet, it’s important to recognize we are trying to keep you out of hospitals for non-emergency treatments and procedures that can easily be performed in clinics for a small fraction of the cost, and with the exact same quality. For instance, an MRI can cost thousands at a hospital, yet only hundreds at a clinic. If you do need care within a hospital, we will help you navigate the system, get a fair price and ensure the staff has the right medical information.

After years of operating multi-specialty healthcare practices in Toronto, Canada, Dr. David Berg relocated to Phoenix and founded Arrowhead Health Centers in 1997 with his wife, Dr. Janice Johnston, a primary care physician. Here, they put a new healthcare vision to the test, streamlining numerous business and clinical processes and systems that enabled Arrowhead Health Centers to provide faster and more complete access to care while significantly reducing costs for common healthcare needs. This method consistently led to healthier outcomes, and Arrowhead’s patients consistently required measurably less hospitalization than industry benchmarks. Not only did this model increase patient satisfaction, but they identified a more affordable and convenient way to provide their own employees with high-quality healthcare at about a third of the market rate. The business, technological and clinical efficiencies of this new delivery system allowed them to save hundreds of thousands of dollars in employee healthcare costs per year – money they were able to reinvest in building Arrowhead Health Centers. Recognizing the value of this model and the potential benefit to businesses nationwide, they teamed up with Paul Johnson – former Phoenix Councilman and Mayor turned business leader and developer – to co-found Redirect Health in 2013, so other companies could experience the same benefits. The business and clinical efficiencies originating at Arrowhead were scaled out further to meet the needs of companies of all sizes.
